San Diego Comic Con is, probably, the most important Comic Book, Geek culture celebration and nerdy people’s gathering – of the entire year! It brings not only tons of cosplayers and merchandise sellers but famous actors, directors and writers to share knowledge and excitement about books, TV shows and movies.
As one of the unlucky people who didn’t get a ticket, this meant I had to see everything through my laptop screen. Here are some panels in which actors, director and fans talk about their show, ask and answer questions. I loved all of them below and would like to share it with you.
This CW show, running for more than a decade now, is about two brothers Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) who are hunters of the supernatural. This panel was particularly fun and moderated by the show’s co-stars Rob Benedict (prophet Chuck Shurley), Richard Speight Jr. (angel Gabriel/ The Trickster) and guest celebrity, Mark Sheppard’s (who plays Satan Crowley) best friend – The Hamster. They talked where the boys are in their relationship, after all those deaths, demon possessions, mark of Cane and how it feels to be part of the show for such a long time – more than a decade.

New upcoming Guillermo del Toro horror movie stars Tom Hiddleston, Mia Wasikowska and Jessica Chastain living in an old, beautiful creepy mansion where unknown things haunts the house. Building itself has own character and the mystery it contains will scare everyone. While fans gasped for Hiddleston himself, del Toro explained how he writes the scripts, including extended bios of characters and their previous life adventures and decisions which made them how they are.
This panel was hosted by Chris Hardwick , the man known for the nerdist.com. Hardwick managed to invite Hollywood celebrities for his podcasts and website’s news are always trustworthy information for the fans.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. had a panel in which cast remembered a lot of moments about the past seasons fighting evil organization Hydra and their characters’ relationship. The panel was moderated by Jeph Loeb, executive producer for Marvel’s TV shows Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Agent Carter, Daredevil and others. Actor Clark Gregg a.k.a. agent Coulson was asked by little girl if she could join Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and he gave a wonderful speech about women and their strong influence in the show. Actress Elizabeth Henstridge who plays Jemma Simmons, also had question and asked Loeb what happened to her character and if she is truly dead. In the series finale Simmons got sucked up in a mysterious black mass and no one knows what happened to her, including, it seems, the actress herself.

This panel stood out due to star Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool) being extremely grateful to fans who convinced Marvel Studios to bring this crazy comic book character hero/villain Deadpool to the big screen. Most of the panel’s actors talked about how they loved working on the production, and it seems the cast had became a family who fooled around. It was an extremely energetic panel.

The iconic British television show also held a panel with writer/producer Steven Moffat and actors Peter Capaldi (The Doctor), Jenna Coleman (Clara) and Michelle Gomez (Missy). They discussed the Doctor’s and Missie’s relationship and characters -why both aliens are what they are and how they respond to each other what are the plans for the future, how Clara sees Doctor. It was very informing for the die-hard fans.
